What areas do you serve?
Simply Balloons provides custom balloon decor throughout Chicago, IL, and the surrounding suburbs. We also service southern Wisconsin and northwestern Indiana. For large-scale events, we are available to travel nationwide—contact us for details.
Do you offer on-site consultations?
Yes! On-site consultations are available once a deposit has been submitted, and we can meet to discuss details.
How far in advance should I book my order?
To secure your preferred date and time, we recommend booking as early as possible. Our setup schedule fills up quickly. Orders placed less than one week in advance may incur a rush fee to cover expedited shipping, scheduling adjustments, and additional labor.
Do you charge a delivery fee?
Yes, delivery fees vary based on the location and time of day. Contact us for a quote specific to your event.
Can I pick up my balloon order?
No, we specialize in full-service balloon décor and delivery. Our team ensures your installation is set up professionally for the best results.
Does pricing include décor removal?
Yes, backdrops and rental items require delivery, setup, and takedown. We are responsible for these services for an additional charge. We offer a combined fee for setup, delivery, and takedown.
How do I make a payment?
We accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and cash. Once your order details are finalized, we will send you an invoice for secure online payment.
What is your cancellation policy?
Since we reserve time slots and order supplies specifically for your event, we do not offer refunds. However, if you cancel at least 30 days in advance, you will receive a credit equal to the amount paid, which can be applied to a future event. Cancellations within 30 days of the event are non-refundable, with no exceptions.
How long do balloons last indoors?
Air-filled balloon arrangements can last for weeks indoors under optimal conditions. However, exposure to open doors, windows, or HVAC systems may affect longevity.
How long do helium balloons float?
Indoors, our helium-filled balloons generally float for at least three days and often much longer, depending on environmental factors.
How long do balloons last outdoors?
Outdoor balloon décor is subject to weather conditions such as heat, wind, rain, and humidity, which can significantly impact lifespan. We cannot guarantee how long they will last
Are your balloons biodegradable or recyclable?
Yes! Our latex balloons are made from natural materials and are 100% biodegradable, breaking down at a similar rate to an oak leaf. However, foil (Mylar) balloons are not biodegradable but can be recycled. Please dispose of all balloons responsibly and never release them into the environment.
Can you inflate balloons that I provide?
No, we do not inflate balloons from outside sources. We cannot guarantee their quality, and if they burst or are defective, it could impact your decor. We recommend ordering all balloon decor directly through Simply Balloons to ensure the best results.
